‘Five Noters’
provides practice materials for developing reading skills in time
and rhythm while only having to cope with the first five notes that
a beginner might learn.

Change
of clef:
Five Noters are useful when teaching a new clef to (for example) a
trombone player, grounded in bass clef, needing to learn alto, tenor
or treble clef. |
The ‘Five
Noters’ tunes range from :
the 1st to the 5th degree of the major scale quavers (8th notes) to
semibreves (whole notes)
2 beats to the bar
3 beats to the bar
4 beats to the bar |
